Why MCP One exists

Enterprises are adopting AI at speed: Salesforce AI, Atlassian Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and internal agents, often across multiple departments simultaneously. The tools for AI observability, AI security, and AI governance are maturing. But none of them answer the question that IT leaders, CIOs, and legal teams are now asking: what AI capabilities does our organisation run, who approved them, what can they access, and where is the record? That answer requires a single governed layer across all the tools, not one that lives inside any single vendor's platform.

MCP One is built to be that layer. It is a vendor-neutral control layer that sits in the execution path for enterprise AI capabilities. Capabilities are registered, approved before deployment, brokered at runtime, and made discoverable to employees, with an approval and audit record that is independent of any AI vendor. The result is a governed capability layer across Salesforce, Atlassian, Microsoft Copilot, and any other tool your organisation runs, with a single account that holds up to scrutiny from a CIO, a legal team, or a board.

MCP One is a brand of eBulldog Ltd, a UK software company. It is being built by a small team working alongside a roster of AI agents, with human accountability retained for every decision that touches a customer or an external commitment. We think that is the honest way to build software for AI governance: use AI extensively in how the company runs, and keep a person in the loop wherever a person should be.
